Scorned & Horned Hirsute Majesty

John Pierro's Image: Week Two

I’m happy so far, not with my drawings, but with what has been starting to happen in my process of thumb nailing and coming up with a visual that feels right for the week. It’s a work of process. John

The thing that I am finding most remarkable is the similarity of these images. Keep in mind, John and I do not show each other the images until we post them here, we do not discuss them during the week, and yet this week, we both arrived at a figure on the central access, facing the viewer, with a strange collar. What John does not know is that my original drawing for this piece had secondary characters in the lower register.
